Overview
This release makes the builder friendlier for customers and easier to manage for staff. You can now recolor any uploaded logo or artwork without leaving the builder, browse a rebuilt graphics step, and work with the real Powers fabric catalog. The Tech Pack PDF gained a materials page and can be previewed right in the browser, and 3D product models load noticeably faster.
Graphics & Designs
Recolor any SVG artwork
Change the colors of any uploaded logo or artwork right inside the builder. The app automatically finds every color in the file and lets you swap each one for a color from your library — or put it back to the original with one click.
Cleaner graphics step
The graphics step in the builder was rebuilt from the ground up:
- Artwork now shows up as tidy cards with previews.
- A new Brand Library tab lets you pick from ready-made brand artwork.
- The artwork browser is simpler and faster to use.
Placements section removed
The old "Placements" pages in the admin area are gone. Placement is now handled directly on each product, so there is one less menu to manage.
Graphics settings for staff
Staff can now switch the Graphics Library and Team Upload tabs on or off in the builder from the Graphics admin page — no developer needed.
3D Builder & Canvas
Faster 3D loading
3D product models now load quicker. The 3D model decoder is stored on our own servers instead of being downloaded from Google on every visit, and one shared decoder is reused across the whole session.
Smarter fabric handling
Each product panel remembers which fabric is assigned to it more reliably, with previews from the new materials library.
Tech Pack (PDF)
New materials page
The generated Tech Pack PDF now includes a materials page showing which fabric goes on each panel of the garment, with fabric names, codes, and preview images.
Preview the PDF in the browser
On the quote page, you can now view the Tech Pack PDF right on the screen before downloading it — no more downloading just to check it.
Fabrics
Brand-new fabric library
The old demo fabrics were replaced with the real Powers fabric catalog, complete with preview images for every fabric and proper surface textures so fabrics look realistic in 3D.
Admin & Dashboard Polish
- New icons everywhere — products, designs, elements, and categories now have their own custom icons for every field and section. They automatically adapt to light and dark mode.
- Design editing organized into tabs — details, assets, and settings each have their own space.
- Quote page improvements — the quote detail page was tidied up, with the embedded Tech Pack viewer mentioned above.
Behind the Scenes
- New settings storage — feature switches (like the graphics toggles) are now stored in the database, so staff can change them anytime without a code update.
- Role fix — fixed how user roles are read so menus and badges show the right options for each person.
- Translations cleaned up — removed all text related to the retired Placements section.
- Small fixes — screenshot rendering, team name search, quote form, analytics tracking, and color tabs all got minor improvements and cleanup.
